Shirley Ann Lamkpin

Graveside services for Shirley Ann Lampkin will be held 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
Shirley was born February 23, 1947 in Bowie, TX to the late Fritz Paul & Beulah Mae (Scheller) Mueller. She died Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Davis, at the age of 70.
Shirley grew up in Hobbs, NM. She married Billy Dean Lampkin on March 10, 1978 in Lovington, NM. Following their marriage, they made their home in Burns Flat, OK for several years prior to moving to Lake Dallas, TX. While living in Lake Dallas, Shirley spent 15+ years working at the Food Fare. In 1999, due to Billy’s failing health, the family moved to Davis to be near other family members. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching game shows on TV and listening to Elvis music. She also cherished spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren, nieces & nephews play sports.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer (Mueller) Cates of May City, Iowa; one son, Timothy Lampkin, of Davis; five grandchildren, Morgan, Lillian, Daisy, Jacob and Kane; one sister, Linda Boales of Mississippi; and one brother, Paul Mueller of Lubbock, TX.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Billy, on December 22, 2009.
