Wanda Charlene Kiddie

Funeral services for Wanda Charlene Kiddie will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating. Interment will follow at the Lehigh Cemetery in Lehigh, OK.

Charlene was born January 11, 1944 in Berkeley, CA to the late John Arthur & Opal Lee (Burns) Ford. She died Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Sulphur, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 16 days.

Charlene grew up in the Coalgate area. She was the valedictorian of the 1962 graduating class of Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City. On November 5, 1962 she and William Kiddie were married in Lehigh. Most of her married life was spent as a stay at home mother, caring for her four children. In her spare time, Charlene enjoyed shopping, playing board games, crocheting and listening to country music; as well as watching the Fox News Network. In her opinion, if Fox said it, it was a fact.

Survivors include three daughters, Rene` Trent & husband Ray of Sulphur, Denise Skrimager & husband Wade of Enid and Lisa Summers & husband Shane of Davis; one son, Willy Kiddie of Sulphur; 12 grandchildren, Jessica Gilbert, Marissa Mitchell, Ray-Ray Trent, Jordan Pettitt, Spencer Underwood, Mitchell “Bubba” Kiddie, Logan Mahaffey, Mason Skrimager, Canon Skrimager, Blake Summers, Briston Summers & Chloe Summers; 10 great-grandchildren, Lucas, Lydia & Lynon Mitchell, Hali & Rance Gilbert, Darbi Mahaffey, Aleah, Jagger & Kinsler Underwood and Turner Kiddie; as well as one brother, Johnny Ford of Deer Creek.

In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Aaron Ford; and the father of her children, William Kiddie.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mitchell Kiddie, Blake Summers, Ray Trent, Briston Summers, Mason Skrimager and Canon Skrimager.
