Services for Benjamin Connor “Ben” Fullerton, of Plano, TX will be 2:00 PM, Monday, Mar 31, 2014 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Davis, OK with Brother Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Ben was born Sept 24, 1994 in McKinney, TX to Steven D. & Deborah C. (Dietz) Fullerton. He died Thursday, Mar 27, 2014 in Plano, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Although many would say Ben’s life was short, those that truly knew him would disagree, based on the fact that he lived every second of every day for 19 years 6 months and 3 days to the maximum. Ben grew up in Plano where he graduated from Plano East Senior High in 2013. After high school he attended Collin County Community College in the fall of 2013, until his health forced him to stop. While in high school, Ben was active in band and auto mechanic classes. He enjoyed being outdoors and going camping. Ben was an avid reader. The fondest of his activities was the 12 years he spent as a member of Cub Scout Pack 221 and Boy Scout Troop 300 of Plano, where he achieved Scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout on Oct 24, 2012.

Survivors include his parents, Steve & Debbie Fullerton; sister, Racheal Fullerton; brother Jacob Fullerton, all of Plano; paternal grandmother, Charlene Fullerton-Tigert of Plano; maternal grandmother, Peggy Dietz of Plano; maternal grandfather, Robert Dietz, Jr & wife Libby of Flowery Branch, GA; uncles, Robert Dietz, Chris Dietz & Jason Elliott, all of Plano; aunts, Karla Elliott of Rockwall, TX, Pam Winterberg & husband Bill of Atlanta, GA; cousins Jonathan Elliott & Daniel Winterberg; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ben was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dwayne Fullerton and his paternal step-grandfather, Tommy Tigert.
