Bobby Joe Wiles

Funeral services for Bobby Joe “Bob” Wiles will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Midway Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Willard McCartney, JR officiating. Interment will follow at the Dougherty Cemetery.
Bob was born April 26, 1962 in Madill to the late James Leonard & Wanda Doris (Davis) Wiles. He died Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 55 years and 1 day. Bob and the former Ms. Vickey Annette Barnes were married on November 11, 1989 in Davis.
Bob grew up in Dougherty and was a 1980 graduate of Sulphur High School. He spent ten years working as a tire builder for Uniroyal in Ardmore, retiring in 1993. From 1993 until 2015, he owned and operated, Bob Small Engine Repairs in Davis. For a brief time in 2015 and 2016, Bob drove a truck cross country. He and Vickey, along with their fur baby, were able to see many beautiful areas across the US during that time. Due to health issues, Bob was once again forced to retire in 2016. Prior to failing health, Bob greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Vickey; son, Dusty Wiles of Florida; two sisters, Sandra Walker and Carolyn Hessney, both of Sulphur; two brothers, Tom Wiles of Sulphur and Mike Wiles of Dougherty; father and mother-in-law, Bob and Joyce Barnes of Davis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Ricky and James “Woody” Wiles.
