Funeral Services for Bobby Ray Jones were held Monday, Sept 10, 2012 at the First Methodist Church of Davis with Rev. Dave Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Bobby was born in the Colbert Community, west of Davis, on Jan 23, 1930 to the late Alvin Raymond and Willie Effie Jones. He died Thursday, Sept 6, 2012 at the age of 82 years 7 months and 13 days. Bobby and Olga Hazel Williams were married on Aug 21, 1950 in Gainesville, TX.

Bobby began his career at the age of 15 working with his dad, Alvin “Raymond” Jones until he enlisted in the US Navy in 1950. He worked in the watch repair field 60 plus years, opening Jones Custom Jewelry with his son Jack in 1985. Bobby was well known in the area for his quality workmanship.

Bobby is survived by his wife Hazel of 62 years; two sons, Jack Jones & wife Kay, of Davis and John Jones & wife Lori of Ardmore; two daughters Judy (Jones) Johnson & husband Eddie and Carolyn (Jones) Morgan, both of Davis; twelve grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Steven Jones; and granddaughter Jennifer (Powell) Vaughn.
