David Earl Eaves

January 30, 1950 — November 3, 2022

David Earl Eaves was born January 30, 1950, in Wynnewood, to the late Earl Richard & Viola Kate (Hobbs) Eaves. He died on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 72 years, 9 months & 3 days.


David was a lifelong resident of Murray County, attending school in Sulphur and Woodland. Following high school, he joined the United States Army. After serving in the Army, David returned to Davis, where he spent many years working as a loader operator for Dolese. He also spent 35+ years raising cattle and farming, which, although was a hard job, David thoroughly enjoyed. Being on the farm watching his cattle brought him great peace and contentment. In younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.


David is survived by his son, Richard Eaves & wife Morgan of Davis; three grandchildren, Ryleigh, Barrett and Bransen Eaves; one sister, Linda Kennedy; two brothers, Ricky and Dean Eaves; stepbrother, Donnie Hasten; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.


In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Eaves.


Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating.
