Dorothy Maxine Lynch

Funeral services for Dorothy Maxine Lynch will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 18, 2014 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis with Pastor Billy Staggs officiating. Interment will be at the Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City at 1:00PM that afternoon.

Dorothy was born Dec 29, 1924 in Sapulpa, OK. She died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Ardmore, at the age of 89 years 3 months and 17 days.

Dorothy spent the last 30+ years living in Davis, moving here from Moore, OK. She spent several years managing the Soonerette Convenient Store in Davis for James Ray Howe, prior to working as an Assistant Manager for him at Sooner Foods Grocery of Davis. Early in life she enjoyed fishing, garage selling and collecting antiques. Dorothy attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Davis.

Survivors include two sons, Warren Sidney Lynch & wife Janice of Moore and Richard Lynch of Wapanucka; five grandchildren, Kimberly Broussard, Tara Faulkner, Kelsey Broussard, Blake Broussard and Charles E. Broussard, III; as well as several great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Lynch, Jr; three infant daughters; brother, Albert Gray; and sister, Ruth Bozeman.
