Eunice Evelyn Crawford

Funeral services for Eunice E. Crawford will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis with the Rev. Junior Rush officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Eunice was born December 23, 1936 in Hartford, AR to the late William “Dobe” and Ida Belle (Hudspeth) Shadwick. She died Thursday, August 31, 2017, in Davis, at the age of 80 years 8 months and 8 days. She and Olan M. Crawford were married on June 1, 1973 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2000.

Eunice grew up in Howe, OK and later moved to the Oklahoma City area. She spent several years working in sales for the JC Penney Corp and Watkins Products. Her main job, during her married life, was being a stay at home mom, caring for her family. In 1987, Eunice and Olan moved to Davis, where they pastored the Zion Full Gospel Tabernacle. After Olan’s death in 2000, she continued their ministry and kept the church going, with her preaching. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, cooking and most importantly, studying the word of God.

Survivors include one son, Robert Faulkenberry & wife Julie; one daughter, Cheryl Morris; one step-son, Keith Crawford & wife Moi of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Jeff Morris & wife Kristi, Chasity Snyder & husband J.J., Andria Fullerton & husband Dale, all of Davis and Sterling Crawford of Oklahoma City; one brother, M.C. Shadwick & wife Darlene of Heavener, OK eight great-grandchildren, Blake, Josh, Abby, Hannah, Keaton, Kailey, Kinsleigh & Mason; as well as numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eunice was preceded in death by one brother, Melborn Shadwick.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Faulkenberry, Bill Shadwick, Blake Snyder, Josh Clark, Jeff Morris and J.J. Snyder. Honorary bearers will be Dale Fullerton and Chad Chambers.
