Francine Elaine Wiggins

Francine “Elaine” Wiggins was born Jan 19, 1953 in Henrietta, Texas to John F. and Gypsie E. (Vaughn) Shores. She died Saturday, Dec 8, 2012 in Sulphur at the age of 59 years 11 months and 19 days.

Elaine was a 1971 graduate of Sulphur High School. During her career she worked as a salesclerk at Wal-Mart, as well as, a private in-home caregiver for several area residents. In her spare time she enjoyed raising plants, painting and writing poetry, some of which was published. She was a very proud mother and loved spending time with her two granddaughters.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Wiggins & wife Sharon of Ponder, TX; granddaughters, Hayley & Victoria Wiggins; sister, Pam Bivens & Dave of Sulphur; two brothers, David Shores & wife Ruth Ann and Johnny Shores & wife Cathy, both of Sulphur; father, John Shores of Aransas Pass, TX; nieces & nephews including, Feleena Bivens, Molly, Spencer, Jarred and Sarah Shores and Wesley, Philip, Ashley & J.W. Bivens; as well as her lifelong friend, Evone Brown.

Elaine was preceded in death by her mother, Gypsie, and nephew, David Shores, Jr.
