Frankie Monroe Richards

Frankie was born July 5, 1936 in Alysworth, OK to the late James William & Clorean (Turner) Richards. He died Wednesday, Aug 10, 2016 in Davis, at the age of 80 years 1 month & 5 days. Frankie and the former Ms Helen Lenora Atchley were married on Jan 25, 1961 in Ardmore.

Frankie grew up in the Madill/Tishomingo area. Following their marriage, he & Helen made their home in Davis. Frankie spent 40+ years working as a loader operator for Sooner Rock & Sand, west of Davis. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Frankie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davis.

Survivors include his wife Helen; two daughters, Janet Coll of Davis and Mary Richards of Yukon; three sons, Tim Richards and Ben Richards, both of Davis and Bruce Richards of Paoli; twelve grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; as well as two brothers, James Richards of Hanford, CA and Robert Richards of Madill; and two half brothers, Alvin Emmons of Oklahoma City and Junior Richards of Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by one sister, Ola Mae Fuller and one brother Albert Richards.
