Gary Dean Gage



Gary was born Aug 5, 1950 in Wynnewood, to the late Henry Warren & Mary Ann (Springer) Gage. He died Thursday, Mar 3, 2016 in Sulphur, at the age of 65. Gary and the former Kathy Billington were married on Mar 28, 1995 in Ada.

Gary grew up in the Wynnewood/Pauls Valley area and attended Pauls Valley High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Gary spent 16 years working as a custodian at the Sulphur Veteran’s Center, prior to retiring Oct 1, 2012. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Kathy; daughter, Dawnnea Jones & husband Shiloh of Sulphur; two step-sons, Dustin Woodruff and Bradley Woodruff & wife Sierra both of Sulphur; grandchildren, Alexis & Landon Jones, Amy Copeland, Levi, Shane, Braden and Kaylie Woodruff; one sister, Jene Davis & husband Dave of Pauls Valley; as well as one brother, Noble Gage & wife Imojene of Helina, OK.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Campbell & Linnie Reynolds; as well as three brothers, Leroy, Johnny & Gene Gage.
