He died Thursday, August 4, 2022, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 29 days. Gary and the former Ms. Doris Jo Garrison were united in marriage on May 17, 1968, in Mill Creek, OK. She preceded him in death on October 15, 2021.

Gary grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School, Class of 1968. After high school, Gary joined the Army National Guards and devoted 16 years of service to our country.
