Services for Geary Don Stevens will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Hennepin Cemetery with Pastor Roger Sims officiating.

Geary was born September 30, 1960, in Izmir, Turkey. He departed this world, for his heavenly home, surrounded by family and loved ones Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Dallas, TX.

Following graduation from Rutherford HS, Panama City, Fl., Geary served one enlistment in the United States Air Force, separating in 1980. He then became a professional trucker and spent over 25 years as a long-haul truck driver with various companies, including J B Hunt and Schneider truck lines. After retiring from trucking, Geary worked at various jobs including the oil fields of Oklahoma. Geary was a member of the Hennepin Baptist Church and greatly respected their teachings and friendship.

Geary is survived by his daughters Katie and Brittany Stevens and their mother Susan Reed; his brother, Terry Stevens, Jr.; sister Danna K Bernardi; and his parents, Terry Dan and Sharon Stevens.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7pm, Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
