George Edward Thomas was born September 4, 1943, in Davis, to the late John E. and Ruby Clarette (Cottrell) Thomas. He died Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Sulphur, at the age of 79. George and the former Ms. Barbara Ann Gordon were married on July 21, 1962, in Davis.

He loved spending time at “Dave’s Cabin” west of Davis, relaxing and observing nature at its finest. George was an avid fan of Davis Wolve’s football. He made sure each day started with visiting the local coffee shops to visit with friends and stay up to date with the local happenings.
