Jackquelene Beth "Jackie" Moss

Funeral services for Jackquelene Beth “Jackie” Moss will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis with Pastors Nick Waters and Marion Reemers officiating. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.

Jackie was born May 26, 1951 in Borger, TX to the late Jack L. and Beth (McCaskill) Wiggin. She died Friday, December 28, 2018 in Sulphur at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 2 days. Jackie and Bill Moss were married on August 22, 1996 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Jackie grew up in Borger, TX. In her early teen years, the family moved to Pasadena, TX, where she attended high school, graduating from Deer Park High School in 1969. Much of her time following high school was spent working as a retail cashier. In 1977, Jackie moved to the Davis area where she worked for several businesses including the First National Bank, Dr. Grider and Dr. Don Oxford. The final 15 years of her working career was spent as a bookkeeper for the C.M. Mays Lumber Co. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, talking with her friends and family on the telephone and singing.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; four daughters, Jaimie Elizabeth Davis & husband Andy of Davis, Becki Lyn Hall & husband Jared of Stratford, Lauren Brooke Waters & husband Nick of Stratford and Tamara Alene Patterson & husband Brent of Levelland, TX; one son, Shane Moss & wife Leah of Davis; two sisters, Brenda Wiggin Cannon and Rhonda Gibbs, both of Davis; as well as 14 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Serving as pallbearers are Andy Davis, Jared Hall, Brent Patterson, Shane Moss, Dalton Davis, Bart Stover and Nolan Hall.
