James Edward "Jim" Davis

Funeral services for James Edward “Jim” Davis will be held 10:00AM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis with Brother Thomas Thompson officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery.

Jim was born Nov 28, 1937 in Clay County, TN to the late Amon Herbert & Lena (Biles) Davis. He died Friday, Jun 17, 2016 in Sulphur, at the age of 78. Jim and the former Ms Jan Allen were married on Apr 16, 1988 in Las Vegas, NV.

Survivors include his loving wife Jan; three daughters, Terri Fleming & husband Doug, Kathy Davis & Stephanie Laning & husband Damian; step-daughter, Tabby Pletcher & husband John; step-son Bobby Webb & wife Brenda; five grandchildren, Hailee Repko & husband Jake, Syndee Laning, Brenna Laning, Logan Phillips & husband Pen & Michael Jennings & wife Tamara; six great-grandchildren, Harper Repko, Hudson Repko, Griffin Chad Phillips, Maci Jae Owens, Brody Jennings and Jagger Jennings; as well as four sisters, Lucille Smith, Josephine Holloman, Zelma Tilley & Ann Tutino; and one brother, Woody Davis.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by two sisters, Iva Hudson & Lorene Chambris; and three brothers, Jake, Stanley & Glynn Davis.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Webb, John Pletcher, Ricky Allen, Todd Riggin, J. Long & Matt Owens.
