Funeral services for Jimmie Jane Chadwick will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Sulphur with Pastors Roger Sims and Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating.

Jane was born April 14, 1949 in Pauls Valley, OK to the late Elmer and Roxie (Palmer) Cherry. She died Sunday, June 23, 2019, surrounded by her family, at her home in Davis. She was 70 years, 2 months and 9 days old. Jane and Richard Chadwick were married on December 3, 1971 in Davis. From this union were born three children; one son, Justin Dow and two daughters, Kelli and Jodi.

Jane was a life long resident of Davis, graduating from Davis High School, Class of 1967. She spent 32 years working for the Chickasaw Telephone Company, retiring in 2010 as the Executive Secretary. Throughout her 32 years with the phone company, Jane was involved in numerous activities. She was a member of the B&PW Club for many years, serving as president from 1987 thru 1988.

Jane was always very involved in her kids and grandkids activities. They could always count on her being there to cheer them on with whatever they were doing. Jane was a very family oriented individual. She enjoyed planning and hosting gatherings for family and friends. From holidays, to family reunions and class reunions, she was always ready to host and plan a good time for everyone. Jane cherished being surrounded by her family and friends. She was very quick witted and always had a funny story or a joke to share with those she was around.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; two daughters, Kelli Brassfield & husband Alex of Hennepin and Jodi Coppenbarger & husband Cade of Davis; five grandchildren, Morgan & Tyler Brooks of Houston, TX, Audrey Brassfield of Hennepin and Gage & Paige Coppenbarger of Davis; one sister, Beverly Kay of Ardmore; in-laws, Barbara & Joe Pirkle, Judy & Jerold Wells and Don & Judy Chadwick, all of Davis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by an infant son, Justin Dow Chadwick.

Serving as pallbearers will be Corey Stevens, Buster Coppenbarger, Jerry Williams, Chuck Cooper, Gilbert Jenkins and Larry Palmer. Honorary bearers will be Buddy Vinyard, Les Herring and Larry Sanders.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, June 26th, from 6:00-7:00PM.
