Funeral services for Juanita Faye (Tyler) Russell will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, Oct 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Sulphur, OK. with Michael Summers and Pastor Billy Staggs officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Juanita was born June 10, 1950 in Healdton, OK. She was raised and adopted by George and NaLora (Blodgette) Tyler. She died Wednesday, Oct 15, 2014 in Davis, at the age of 64 years. Juanita and Charles Wesley “Cotton” Russell were married in Mar, 1972.

Juanita was raised and educated in Mill Creek until the 8th grade, when she began school in Sulphur and graduated in 1968. She later attended cosmetology school and operated her own salon in Sulphur for 37 yrs, as well as owned a bar and worked at the casino. She loved spending time with her family, enjoying chess with George and card games with family members. She was often teasing her loved ones while they played games. Juanita was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Charles “Cotton” Russell of Davis; daughter, Charla Faye Russell of Davis; son, George W. Russell and wife DeAnna of Broken Arrow, OK; three grandchildren, NaLora Grace and Atticus Kane Russell and Bryson Russell Daly; as well as three brothers, Charles Tyler of Wilson, Mike Tyler of Marietta, and John Tyler of Mobile, AL.
