Funeral services for Kenneth James Clary will be held 2:00 PM. Thursday, Jan 31, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev James Swain officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.
Kenneth was born Dec 8, 1941 in Sulphur, to the late Jessie James & Ruby (Bullard) Clary. He died Monday, Jan 28, 2013 in Sulphur, at the age of 71 years 1 month and 20 days. He & Carol J. Fine were married on Jun 29, 1983 in Sulphur.
Kenneth grew up in Sulphur where he graduated from high school. He served several years with the local National Guards unit. Kenneth worked for the Wonder Bread Co for 31 years, prior to his retirement in 2001. He was a very devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending every moment he could with his family. Kenneth also enjoyed fishing & hunting. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Carol; daughter, Kim O’Brien & husband Tim of Norman; three step-sons, Billy & Larry Rowe, both of Marlow and Johnny Rowe of Oklahoma City; six grandsons, Bryeson & Kendall Lance and Chase, Blake, Tanner & Michael Rowe; great-granddaughter, Payton Rowe; sister, Shirley Crase & husband Danny of Sulphur; as well as, three brothers, Danny & Glen Clary of Sulphur and Robert Clary of Vinita, OK.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shannon Clary in 1971 and one brother, Jackie Clary.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Bryeson & Kendall Lance and Chase, Blake, Tanner & Michael Rowe.
