Funeral services for Margie Elaina (Reynolds) Kennedy were held 11:00AM, Monday, Aug 8, 2016 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Sulphur with Pastor Dick Terry officiating. Interment followed at the Oaklawn Cemetery.

Margie was born April 9, 1965 in Sulphur to the late Stoney and Leona (Elrod) Reynolds. She died Friday, Aug 5, 2016 in Shawnee, at the age of 51 years, 3 months & 26 days. Margie and Franklin Don (Frank) Kennedy were married on Aug 18, 1980 in Gainesville, TX. He preceded her in death on Jan 15, 2015. Others preceding her in death were two nephews, Johnathan Watterson and Jake Simmons.

Margie was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. She spent 20 years working as a nurse’s aide at the Sulphur Veteran’s Center. Margie cherished her family and loved spoiling her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed garage selling where she always tried to negotiate prices. She also loved spending time working in her flower beds.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jonie Wallace and April Graves & husband Seth of Sulphur; son, Jason Kennedy & wife Teena of Sulphur; three sisters, Donna Watterson & husband Johnny of Sulphur, Margaret Baxter & husband Danny of Shattuck, OK and Debbie Simmons & husband James of Sulphur; one brother, Links Reynolds & wife Sandy of Sulphur; as well as her five grandchildren, Eathin, Coalten & MahKenzee Kennedy, Aidan Graves and Brody Wallace.
