Margie Pauline Green



Margie was born Aug 12, 1924 in San Fernando, CA to the late Troy B. & Laura Bell (Winkelman) Jacobson. She died Monday, Nov 12, 2012 in Sulphur at the age of 88 years and 3 months.

Margie grew up in San Fernando where she graduated from high school. During her life she resided in California, Texas & Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling and going to church. In late 2008, Margie moved to Davis to be near family. In her own words, Margie said, “Enjoyed my time living in Oklahoma with my family and friends. God has blessed me these past years. I’m so thankful I moved here. I loved it.” She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include one son, Randall Ray Westman; two stepsons, Darrell Green of California and Harold Green of Washington; granddaughter, Gay Monique Langewisch of Santa Clarita, CA; three great-grandchildren; brother, Troy B. Jacobson, Jr & wife Imelda of Valinda, CA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including Pauline Gist & Marsha Roady of Davis.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents and three wonderful Christian husbands, Ray Westman, Louis Chupik and Paul J. Green.
