Nick White

Nick White of San Marcos, Texas, beloved and cherished son, husband, father, brother and friend, passed away on December 30, 2015 in Austin, Texas, at the age of 33. He was born to David R. White and Denise Huggins White in Edmond, Oklahoma on October 6, 1982.

Nick White graduated from Davis High School in 2001. With his lifelong love of football Nick was always the first player through the “Breakthrough” on the field. You would see #50 coming as his enthusiasm revved up the “Wolf Pack” from 1998 to 2000.

He met his wife, Cassie (Cothren) in college at Arkansas Tech. They married July 8, 2006 in Conway, Arkansas and were blessed with three children, Jen (7), Ali (5) and Connor (1). They moved to San Marcos and are members of the University Church of Christ in San Marcos. Nick became a Hall Director at the San Marcos Baptist Academy and Head Coach of the Texas State Football Club.

He is survived by his mother, Denise White of Davis; father, David White, of Davis; wife, Cassie (Cothren) White; three children, Jennifer , Alexandra and Connor White of San Marcos, Texas; brother, Jordan White of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, John and Maudie Huggins of Davis, Oklahoma; uncle, David Huggins of Plano, Texas and aunt, Sandy Holybee of Ardmore, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leslie and Jeanne White.
Nick was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all.

Family will receive friends at Hale’s Funeral Home of Davis, 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2016. A Celebration of Nick’s Life will be held at the East Main Church of Christ in Davis, at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 with Wayne Jones officiating. Nick will be buried at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, Oklahoma.
