Rickey Standley Jones

Graveside services for Rickey Stanley Jones will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Rickey was born January 13, 1953, in Wynnewood, OK, to Lester “Doc” and Dorothy (Pickens) Jones. He died on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 69.

Rickey grew up in the Davis area. He attended school at Woodland, prior to graduating from Davis High School, Class of 1971. Throughout his working career, he held positions in various industries, including welding, oil field drilling, and manufacturing. At the time of his death, Rickey was working in maintenance for the Chickasaw Nation at the Artesian Hotel in Sulphur.

Rickey was known to be a simple, yet spiritual man. He loved being outdoors in nature. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, tending to his plants, and collecting antiques. Rickey had a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs.

Survivors include one daughter, Toni Baringer of Oklahoma City; one grandson, Steven Shon Baringer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rickey was preceded in death by his father, Doc Jones; his mother, Dorothy Jones-Maloney; and two brothers, Tony Jones, and Timothy Maloney.

Services are entrusted to HALE’S FUNERAL HOME, DAVIS.
