Sandra Nell Heath

Sandra Nell Heath was born November 10, 1943 in Orange, TX to the late Clarence Obie & Willie Rhea (Adcock) Bailey. She died Friday, February 1, 2019 in Norman, OK at the age of 75 years. Sandra and Kenneth R. Heath were married on August 31, 1968 in Tishomingo. From this union were born three sons, Kenneth Jr, William Obie and Jason.

Sandra grew up in Broken Bow, OK, graduating from Broken Bow High School in 1961. Following high school, she attended Southeastern State University, prior to working six years for the Oklahoma State Auditors Office. She left the auditor’s office to be a stay at home mother, to raise her three sons. Later in the 1980’s, Sandra worked as a TV and newspaper reporter in Clayton and Broken Bow. Prior to retirement, she was employed at the Dollar General Warehouse in Gene Autry. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her flowerbed and spending time with her family. Sandra was very strong in her faith.

Survivors include her three sons, Kenneth Heath, Jr. and wife Angela of Sulphur, William Obie Heath & wife Tammy of Davis and Jason Heath & wife Katrina of Sulphur; nine grandchildren, Mercedes Heath, April Heath, Harley Ward, Austin Jackson, Bryant Ward, A’Lexis Ward, Myles Heath, Emma Heath and Zivah Heath; two great-grandchildren, Remington and Wyatt Barker; as well as one sister, Martha Sue Ward of Tishomingo.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth & Jerry Bailey; and one grandson, Marcus Heath.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
