Thelma Jean (Thomas) Holder

Funeral services for Thelma Jean (Thomas) Holder will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Davis, with Reverends Billy Staggs and Gary Akerman officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Thelma was born May 4, 1948 in Davis, to the late Foster H. and Margaret G. (Hawkins) Thomas. She died Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 12 days.

Thelma resided in Davis all of her life, until moving to the Sommerset Assisted Living Center in Oklahoma City, in 2015. She was a 1966 graduate of Davis High School. Thelma spent many years working at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center in Pauls Valley, where she was a direct care specialist with the residents. Thelma was a lifetime member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Davis.

Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Folmsbee & husband Cory of Jacksonville, TX; one brother, Jim Thomas & wife Kay of Moore; nieces, Christine Quigley & husband Dale of Mustang, Penny Ensley & husband Robert of Davis and Shanna Luber & husband Rod of Yukon; nephew, Joe Thomas & wife Teresa of Oklahoma City; as well as numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by an infant son; and one brother, John David Thomas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Thomas, Randy Moore, Buster Coppenbarger, Cade Coppenbarger, Dallas Ensley and Delford Fox.
