Vickie Ann (Carter) Farrell

Funeral services for Vickie Ann (Carter) Farrell will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Vickie was born on May 19, 1957, in Ardmore, to Kenneth Wayne Carter and Ellen (Golden) Scarberry. She left this world on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in Durant, at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 3 days. Vickie and Benny Earl Farrell were united in marriage on May 7, 2017, in Kingston.

Vickie was a 1975 graduate of Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City, where she was very active in sports. Following graduation, she resided in Davis for several years, prior to moving away to manage an apartment complex. She later returned to Davis where she worked as the office manager for the Carter Oil Company. Vickie was full of love for her family and friends, especially for her three aunts, who were a big part of her life. She loved listening to all genres of music in her spare time.

Survivors include her husband, Ben Farrell of Kingston; one son, Derek Clymer of Oklahoma City; one sister, Karen Stowers & husband Doug of Madill; three grandchildren, Kadine, Karlee Jo, and Preston Clymer; two stepsons, Travis Farrell & fiancé Amanda, and Casey Farrell & wife Mystene, all of Norman; two step grandsons, Nate and Derek Tabor; as well as two nieces and two nephews.

Preceding Vickie in death were her parents, and one sister, Shirley Childers.

The family will receive friends, Monday evening, March 28, 2022, from 5-7PM, at the funeral home.
