Vivian Kay Goodpasture


Vivian was born on Oct 13, 1943 in Wichita Falls, TX to Edward C. and Hazel L. (Gill) Johnson. She died Thursday, Jun 20, 2013 in Oklahoma City at the age of 69. Vivian and William “Bill” Goodpasture were married on May 26, 1962 in Lamont, CA. He preceded her in death on Dec 11, 2002. Others preceding her in death include her father, Ed Johnson; mother Hazel Mulliniks; and step-father, Daddy Dale Mulliniks.

Vivian grew up in the Lamont/Tehapachi/Bakerfield, CA area and graduated from Lamont High School in 1960. She spent her married life as a stay-at-home mom, caring for her children. Vivian’s enjoyments included reading, working puzzles and watching “Wheel of Fortune.” She and Bill made their home in the Mill Creek/Troy area for several years. After Bill’s death, Vivian moved Piedmont to be near her daughter, due to health failing health.

Survivors include her daughter, Sabrina Pratt & husband Robin of Piedmont; two sons, Will “Billy” Goodpasture & wife Shelly of Midwest City and Grady Goodpasture of Lexington; six grandchildren, Jessica Pratt & fiancé, Zach Barker, Jacob Pratt & wife Brooklyn, Lindsey & Savannah Goodpasture, Lauren Hamby and Taylor Gilbert; one great-grandson, Nathan Barker; as well as four brothers, Marion Mulliniks, Ronnie Mulliniks, Buddy Mulliniks & Eddie Johnson and three sisters, Linda Williamson, Cindy Keener & Patricia Johnson.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Blocker, Albert Blocker, Tommy Goodpasture, Mark Hector, Jeff Hurd, Coy Troxell and Donnie Robinson.
