Services for Wilma Faye Honeycutt were held 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis, with Sheldon Williams and Chuck Greene officiating. Interment followed at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley.

Wilma was born August 3, 1941 in Pauls Valley, to the late William James Coffey and Mabel Lee (Lofton) Coffey Ring. She died Friday, January 25, 2019 in Sulphur, at the age of 77 years.

Wilma grew up in Pauls Valley, graduating from Pauls Valley High School in 1959. Following high school, she married. From that union was born two daughters, Pam and Dana. Wilma raised her daughters in the Joy area, and later moved to Sulphur. After her daughters started school, Wilma pursued a career in the Emergency Medical Service. She spent 35 years working as a paramedic for the Murray County Ambulance Service. The final seven years of her career was spent in administration for the ambulance service. At the time of retirement in 2013, Wilma had responded to an estimated 35,000 emergency calls. She was an avid fan of the movie “Lonesome Dove.” It was said, if “Lonesome Dove” was on TV, you dare not bother her. In younger years she enjoyed walking and bowling.

Survivors include her two daughters, Pam Woods & partner Trish Fyffe and Dana Rico & husband James; one granddaughter, Jami Rico; four sisters, Quanda Garrett of Wynnewood, Melba Beavers of Moore, Gail Ring of Lawton and Marilyn Ring of Norman; four brothers, Glen Ring of Tecumseh, Glendal Ring of Moore, Glennis Ring of Elmore City and Ray Ring of Clinton.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnnie & Mary Gann, who raised her; one brother Thomas Coffey; and one cousin
