Services for Benjamin Lee "Ben" Berryhill will be held 2:00PM, Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Sandy Baptist Church, with Phil Lewis officiating. Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th, from 1-4:00PM, at Hale's Funeral Home, in Sulphur.
Ben, known by many nicknames throughout his family, was born on November 30, 1981, in Sulphur. He died on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Dallas, at the age of 43.
Ben was a lifelong resident of Sulphur and attended Sulphur Public Schools. After high school, he spent 13+ years working for the AAF Flanders Company in Ardmore. Ben enjoyed listing to music, especially rock and heavy metal. He was a sports fanatic and was always ready to play a game of softball or shoot a game of pool. He was an avid fan of OU Football. Ben also enjoyed going to concerts and spending time with his family and friends.
Ben was a very proud member of the Choctaw Nation. On October 18, 2025, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and followed that decision with believers baptism.
Survivors include his mother, Beverly Meely; sister, Angela Colbert & husband Michael; brother, Bryan Berryhill, Sr; nieces & nephews, Chanda, Leandra & Lucretia Jefferson, Darnell Colbert, Courtney Sisneros, and Carissa & Bryan Berryhill, Jr; great nieces & nephews, Jayden, Minko, Meka, Josiah, Novah, Deklin, Kebi, Carter and Cambri; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ben was preceded in death by his father, Julius Williamson; stepfathers, Ray Meely; maternal grandparents, Ernest & Viola Berryhill, Sr; and paternal grandparents, Armond & Hattie Williamson.
Services are entrusted to Hale's Funeral Home of Sulphur.
