Services for Bessie Ruth Menindghall-Jones will be held 2:00PM, Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Hennepin Cemetery with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating.
Bessie was born February 14, 1923 in Fairfax, OK to the late James & Bessie (Scott) Tennell. She died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in Davis, at the age of 94 years 11 months & 3
Bessie grew up in Seminole area. She and the late Otto Ivan Mendinghall were married in 1939. In 1969, she and her family moved to Davis. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, tending to her garden and being with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Shelia Brubaker of Davis, Jackie Edmondson of Victoria, TX and Pat Climer of Wewoka; three sons, John Mendinghall of Seminole, James Medinghall of Duncan and Alan Mendinghall of Springer; son-in-law, Jim Brubaker of Davis; daughter-in-law, Janet Mendinghall of Duncan; as well as numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bessie was preceded in death by two sons, Ray & Ronnie Mendinghall; three daughters, Sue Driskell, Sandra Johnson & LaDonna Presgrove; and one grandson, Blake Primrose.
