Bobby was born Dec 26, 1944 in Sulphur, to late Leonard Alfred & Addie Lavenia (Williams) Day. He died Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Sulphur, at the age of 70 years, 4 months & 4 days.
Bobby grew up in Sulphur where he graduated from high school in 1963. After graduation, he joined the United States Army. Bobby spent many years working in Sheet metal fabrications, retiring from V.E. Enterprises in Springer. In his spare time he enjoyed reading & watching western movies, hunting & fishing. Bobby was a very proud member of the Chickasaw Nation.
Survivors include son, Dewayne Day & wife Monica of Las Vegas; daughter, Tammy Pittman & husband Tony of Bedford, PA; two grandchildren, Kyle & Allison; uncle, Julian Williams; brother, Gerry Day & wife Juanita of Ada; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Day & Almeta Ingram; and a nephew, Earl Dodson.
The family wishes to give special thanks to nephew, Terry Dodson & Johnnie Dodson and special friends, Jeremy Parker and Angela Ingram for the great care & friendship that was offered to Bobby.
