Catherine Hedges Shriver

Catherine Hedges Shriver was born May 29, 1928 in Walkersville, MD to late George Edgar & Margaret Hazel (Hedges) Roderuck. She died Monday, November 6, 2017 in Ardmore, OK at the age of 89 years, 5 months & 7 days.

Catherine was a retired educator of music and PE. She also spent several years working as an activities coordinator for the United State Marine Corp.

Survivors include her daughter, Penelope “Penny” Shriver of Davis; one son, Roderuck Lee Shriver of King George, VA; three grandchildren, Seth, Faith & Hope; one sister, Doris Flanigan of Rocky Ridge, MD; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret, Charlotte & Florence; and one brother, Harold.
