Chad Ryan Hicks

Chad Ryan Hicks was born April 3, 1997, in Norman, OK to Nancy (Reavis) Hicks and the late Larry Don Hicks. He died on Friday, October 9, 2025, in Davis, at the age of 28 years, 6 months and 6, days.

Chad attended Sulphur Public Schools until his junior year. He then completed his high school education with an online Christian school. After high school, he spent much of his time working in the fast-food industry. As an avid outdoors man, Chad could often be found outside observing the beauty of nature.

Chad was known for his big heart, sense of humor and the way he could make anyone laugh. He loved listening to music, working on cars and finding peace in keeping to himself. To have known Chad was to love him. He was so, so loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends who take comfort in knowing he is now at peace.

Chad is survived by his mother, Nancy Dilbeck; his brother, Clinton Carter & wife Brooke and their two sons Emmett & Oliver; his sister, Natalie Hicks & Chassie Carter and Chassie's children, Kolton & Tyler; as well as his grandparents Virgie & Roger Koneneke.

In addition to his father, Chad was preceded in death by grandparents, Rick & Georgia Reavis.

A celebration of Chad's life will be held later with family and friends.

Cremation was "entrusted to" HALE'S FUNERAL HOME, SULPHUR.
