Charles Wesley “Chuck” Rowe



Chuck was born on Jul 1, 1960 in Elk City, OK to the late Harwood Slate & Stella Mae (LaFever) Rowe. He died Jan 14, 2014 in Sulphur, at the age of 53 years 6 months and 13 days.

Chuck spent seven years in the Army working in Intelligence. After his time in the Army, he began a career in law enforcement. He spent 10+ years with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Dept. and working security for Putnam City School District. Chuck earned a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and in Theology from OCU. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include one sister, Beatrice “Bea” Webb of Velma; two brothers, Harwood “Woody” Rowe, Jr of Montgomery, AL and George Rowe of Guthrie; as well as several nieces & nephews.
