Dadriaon Sadler Donohew was born July 17, 1948, in Sulphur, to the late Edward Don and Corene (Buffington) Sadler. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Duncan, at the age of 77. She and Billy George Donohew were married on April 1, 1981, in Duncan. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2016.
Dadriaon grew up in Davis. After graduating from Davis High School, Class of 1966, she attended East Central University. Following college, she began a career in the judicial system, beginning with attorneys Frank Gibbard and Elaine Howe in Sulphur, prior to working for attorney Earl P. Enos, in Duncan. In 1991, Dadriaon went to work for the Stephens County District Attorney, Gene Christian, retiring in 2014 as the office Finance Coordinator.
Dadriaon, although private in some ways, led an outgoing life. She loved spending quality time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren. With red being her favorite color, it would make sense that she was a huge fan of OU softball and football. Dadriaon was also an avid fan of Elvis and Carrie Underwood. She enjoyed going out to eat as often as possible with her family and friends, of course ordering everything extra crispy. In her spare time, she enjoyed mowing her yard, watching Hallmark movies, shopping, and anything to do with Christmas.
Survivors include her three children, Kimberly Lee of Aurora, CO, Scott Gibson of Duncan, and Joe Don Gibson of Ada; ten grandchildren, Madison Lee, Grayson Lee, Byron Gibson, Jessica Kelso, Assin Gibson, Makayla Gibson, Maranda Gibson, Tyler Gibson & wife Hanna, Bayleigh Daniel & husband Carson, Gus Gibson, and Jessi McNutt; one great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Gibson, whom she lovingly called "Sunshine Girl"; sister, Dianne Gilliland of Davis; sister-in-law, Debby Sadler of Davis; beloved cousins, Marie Lee O'Shields of Ardmore and Kay Carter of Davis; one niece, Natalie Sadler Moss; three nephews, Jody Gilliland, Jeremy Gilliland, and Lincoln Sadler; as well as several great nieces & nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dadriaon was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Don Sadler; nephew, Jason Gilliland; and brother-in-law, David Gilliland.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis. The family suggests those attending wear anything Red, OU, or leopard print in Dadriaon's memory.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, September 22nd from 5-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
