Graveside services for Debora Ann Mohr, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Yukon Cemetery, in Yukon, OK. John Rheed Hale will officiate the service.
Debora, better known by loved ones as "Debbie" or "Aunt D" was born October 4, 1956, in Oklahoma City, to the late Edward Eugene & Ruby Arlene (Wooldridge) Mohr. She passed from this life on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the home of her nephew, in Hennepin, OK. Debbie was 69 years, 2 months, and 28 days old.
Debbie grew up in Oklahoma City, graduating from US Grant High School. After high school, she attended Oklahoma Community College, earning an associate's degree. Debbie spent her working career as an inventory control specialist at Tinker Air Force Base. Although she did not want to, failing health forced her to retire in 2013. At that time, she was recognized by the United States Air Force for 33 years of faithful and devoted Federal Civilian Service. Debbie absolutely loved her career at Tinker, but more importantly, she loved the many friendships she formed throughout her time there.
Debbie was a very loving and devoted Aunt. Although she never had children of her own, she treated her nephews and nieces as her own, especially her nephew Dwayne & niece Jenny. She attended every sporting and FFA event they participated in. Her love and devotion for them spilled over to Dwayne's sons, Parker and Connor as they followed his footprints in sports and FFA. They always knew "Aunt D" was there supporting and encouraging them down every walk of life they took. Debbie took the role of Aunt very seriously and enjoyed every moment of it. Her love for her family was steadfast.
Debbie was a diehard OU fan, which did not set will with Dwayne and his family, being they are OSU fans. However, because she was also an avid Davis Wolves fan, they agreed to accept her shortcomings. Debbie could always be found wearing an OU shirt or a Davis Wolves shirt. She would occasionally go as far as to wear an Eskimo Joe's shirt, to appease Dwayne, but that was as close to OSU clothing as she would go.
In younger years Debbie enjoyed playing softball with co-workers and her church league. She was a lifelong member of the Knob Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include her nephew, whom she revered as her own son, Dwayne Mohr & wife Rachael; great-nephews Parker Mohr & wife Cassie, and Connor Mohr; great-great nephew Jaxton; sister, Melba Lee & husband Michael, all of Hennepin; brother, Roger Mohr & wife Eliada of Yukon; step-mother, Delores Mohr of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Tina Mohr of Choctaw; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Debbie was preceded in death by one brother, David Mohr.
