Earlene Blagg Chandler
Earlene Blagg Chandler, born on November 23, 1940, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, to the late Earl and Mable (Van Orden) Blagg, departed this world on the evening of Friday, July 19, 2024, in Oklahoma City, at the blessed age of 83, surrounded by those who loved her dearly. She was greeted at Heaven's gates by her daughter Kellie Ann and her beloved siblings Leon Blagg, Don Blagg and Kaye Young, as well as her parents.
Earlene's journey began in the small town of Sulphur, where she attended school and graduated with the class of 1959. She remained actively involved with the Class of '59 reunion committee, keeping classmates in touch and joyfully planning the reunions. She married Larry Chandler right out of high school and had two children with him. Earlene was prideful in raising her family with love and dedication. She embraced every challenge and triumph with grace and resilience, leaving a legacy of warmth and devotion.
In 1998, after a fulfilling career with Quantum, Earlene returned to her roots in Sulphur, surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends. An avid reader, she was always on the lookout for a good book. Earlene also poured her heart into exploring her heritage and was very active in her family's genealogy.
Earlene's love extended deeply to her family, who were her greatest treasures. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Alicia Rose Hrvatin and Andrew William Hrvatin, and her son-in-law, Andy William Hrvatin, all of Elwood, Illinois, as well as her son, Robert Chandler.
Our beloved Pia's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her kindness, love, and commitment to family will be remembered with profound gratitude and fondness. We will hold close the memories of the remarkable woman who touched our lives in ways words can hardly express. We love you.
Apart or together, always close to me.
