Services for Emma Jewel (Byars) Wilkerson were held 10:00 AM, Saturday, Feb 21, 2015 at the Assembly of God Church in Davis with Brother Johnny Beckmon officiating.

Emma was born Jan 21, 1942 in Stonewall, OK to the late Amiel H & Pearl Jewel (Humes) Byars. She died Tuesday, Feb 17, 2015 in Ada, at the age of 73 years & 26 days. Emma and Loyd Wilkerson were married on July 7, 1971 in Meridian, OK.

Survivors include her husband Loyd; two sons, Marcus W. Rankins of Davis and Jonny M. Wilkerson of Houston, TX; three daughters, Sonya K. Miller & husband Jerry of Davis, Sommer Wilkerson of Davis and Johnnie F. Looney of Tulsa; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her family; Emma leaves behind a host of friends that she considered family. She will live on forever in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her; yet deeply missed.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Betty Darnell & Lorene Etheridge; three brothers, Harrison, Amiel H., Jr and Donald Byars; grandson, Joshua Lockman and great-grandson Trevor Webb.
