Floyd William Seibert was born January 15, 1946, in Birmingham, AL, to the late William Henry & Kathleen (Donahoo) Seibert. He passed from this life on Monday, January 26, 2026, in Ardmore, at the of eighty. Floyd and Mary Catherine "Cathey" Wilder were married on September 23, 2003, in Whitefish, MT.
Floyd grew up in Birmingham. After graduating from high school, he attended Auburn University where he played as a running back for their football team. In the early 1960's, he suffered a severe ankle fracture during a game with Georgia Tech that changed his dreams of playing professional football. After rehab from his injury, Floyd transferred to Jacksonville State, in Jacksonville, AL, where he continued playing football and earned a degree in accounting. During his college years, he joined the National Guard. Floyd was proud of service with the National Guard.
Floyd had a diverse career beginning as a Medicare auditor for the Blue Cross Blue Shields insurance company, as well as private accounting. In the early 1980's, Floyd started one of the first home health agencies in the state of Oklahoma, then opened agencies in Texas and finally retired in 2005. During his retirement years, he taught accounting and worked for US Foods. In 2016, he and Cathey moved to Murray County where he began raising cattle. He greatly enjoyed working with his cattle, horse, and mini mule.
For several years, Floyd owned a high fenced ranch in Texas where he enjoyed riding his ATV around to observe the exotic animals. He loved hunting and fishing as often as he could.
Floyd and Cathey attended Pathway Church in Davis, until failing health prevented him from going.
Survivors include his wife, Cathey; daughter, Krysti Seibert of San Antonio, TX; daughter Staci Schultz of Cumming, GE; and four grandchildren, Cooper Schultz, Londyn Schultz, Brady Leming and Morgan Leming.
Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Hale's Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Mr. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery, in Wynnewood.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Johnson, Micheal Meador, Cody Carter, Dennis Green, Mark Wheeler and Lindell Armstrong.
