Gladys Faye Sims

Gladys Faye Sims was born on February 29, 1932, in Sherman, TX, to the late Floyd Simpson & Gracie (Griffith) Flowers. She passed from this life on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Sulphur, at the age of ninety-four. Gladys and Lloyd Sims were united in marriage on October 17, 1959, in Durant, OK. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2009.

Gladys grew up in Sherman. After graduating from Sherman High School, she spent several years working in bookkeeping for the S&H Kress Corporation, prior to spending several years being a stay-at-home mother. In 1988, Gladys went to work for the Andrews Transportation Company, retiring in 2001 when she and Lloyd moved to Davis, OK.

In her spare time, Gladys enjoyed dancing, singing, and tending to her yard.

Survivors include her daughter, Lynda Rushing of Davis; as well as six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Per her request, no services will be held for Gladys.

Cremation has been "Entrusted To" HALE'S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
