Jack W. Lewis passed away on July 30th, 2026, at the age of 89. Born in Purcell, OK on February 17th, 1937, to the late Richard Daniel Lewis and Ethel Marie Roberts.
Jack grew up the youngest of 8 siblings. After graduating from Purcell High School, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Jack married Marita Osborne on October 22nd, 1962. Over the years, he built a life centered on family, laughter, creativity and community. Jack was known for loving his bride, his hard work as an electrician at Uniroyal and certainly known for his humor. Jack found joy in road trips, ranching, fishing and family.
He leaves behind his most precious friend and beloved wife Marita Lewis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his siblings Dortha Lewis (m. Bob Miller), Arthur Lewis (m. Alma Shumaker), Elva Lewis (m. Guy Colwell), Mabel Lewis (m. Leonard Walchli), Geraldine Lewis (m. Bill Julian), Richard Lewis (m. Barbara Robertson) and Betty Lewis (m. Wade Moore).
A time of remembrance for family and friends will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, August 10th, 2026, at the Mount Olivet Cemetery Pavilion in Pauls Valley.
Jack's legacy of love and laughter will continue in the lives of all who loved him.
Services are "Entrusted To" HALE'S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
