Jimmy Keith Trout



Jimmy was born Dec 15, 1935 in Fox, OK to the late George O. “Pat” and Ruth (Watts) Trout. He died Tuesday, Mar 11, 2014 in Kingston, at the age of 78. He and Odessa Mae Coffman were married on Jun 22, 1970 in Dallas, TX.

Jimmy grew up in the Fox area, where he graduated from high school. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He later received a Master’s Degree in accounting at SMU. Jimmy worked as the chief financial officer of Wallace Construction of Dallas for ten years. Throughout his career he worked as the Controller for several companies including FB Gardener of Phoenix and the Snyder Company. After his retirement in 2000, he and Odessa moved to Kingston where he had a small farm operation. His hobbies included playing the fiddle, fishing, hiking, running and gardening.

Survivors include his wife Odessa; daughters, Carol Trout and Rhonda King both of Rogers, AR and Julie Entz & husband Rocky of Coosbay, OR; sons, Ronnie Clary & wife Ann Marie of Lubbock, TX and Robert Trout of Coosbay, OR; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as one, sister, Patsy McCutchem.

Along with his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Trout.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dean Coffman, Quinton Brown, Matt Brown, Ricky Mattingly, Mike Trout and David Trout.
