Kathryn Mae Miller

Kathryn was born on January 9, 1935, to parents Lawrence and Daisy Johnson in Borger, Texas. She passed away peacefully in her home on March 4, 2026, at the age of 91.

Kathryn was married to the late Edwin Miller for 71 years. They were married in Gainesville, Texas in 1951. From this union three children were born, Jerry Dan, Larry Dale, and Derita Kay.

Kathryn grew up in Davis, Oklahoma and attended Davis High school.

For a brief time, Kathryn and Edwin lived in Hobbs New Mexico before moving back to live on the family farm where they raised cattle and operated a dairy.

Kathryn loved to sew and make dolls for her grandchildren.

Kathryn loved to have grandchildren and great grandchildren come to the farm where they could play and enjoy being outdoors.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her loving husband Edwin, her parents, Lawrence and Daisy Johnson and brother Donny Johnson.

Kathryn is survived by one daughter, Derita Miller of McAlester, two sons, Jerry Dan Miller and wife Cindy of Edmond, Larry Dale Miller, and wife Karen of Stillwater, five grandchildren, Brent Deen, Sean Miller, Reanna Olson, Matthew Miller, and Allison Miller, six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Hale's Memorial Chapel in Davis, Oklahoma.
