Kerry Dan McCollum

Kerry Dan McCollum, 60, of Wynnewood, OK, passed peacefully on September 15, 2025. He was born March 14, 1965, to the late Donald Ray & Patsy Lee (Lane) McCollum, living a life filled with love, laughter, and family.

On October 26, 1992, Kerry married the love of his life and soul mate, Peggy Ruth (Collins) Callis. Kerry's love and care for Peggy were evident to all who knew them. Together they were like peas and carrots, inseparable and devoted to one another.

Kerry enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for collecting coins, enjoyed fishing, smoking meat, and loved going on lake vacations with his family.

In addition to his parents, Kerry was preceded in death by two sisters, Deena Williams and Sherry Nelson, and one brother, Donald McCollum, Jr.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Peggy; stepson, Chuck Callis & wife Eva; granddaughters, Susan Coble & husband Robbie, Shannon Russell & husband George, and Sheena Ellett & husband Race; grandsons, Edward Callis & wife Candice, and Ty Callis. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Michael Ellett, Jordan Callis, Aubrey Coble, Zakary Russell, Kyeson Coble, Abigail Russell, and Ivy Callis; one sister, Melissa Tiger; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members who loved him.

Kerry's love, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the memories of his family and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 27th, at 10:00 AM, at the New Life Assembly of God Church, 4121 SE 59th St, in Oklahoma City, OK 73135.
