Funeral services for Kimberly Dawn Willis will be held 2:00PM, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ, in Sulphur, with Brother Danny Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at the Salem Presbyterian Cemetery, north of Sulphur.
Kimberly was born January 16, 1975, in Lawton, to Roy Reed Willis and Regina Lois Lewis. She died on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in Ada, at the age of 46.
Kimberly grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School, class of 1994. She spent several years working for Snak-Shak, Sooner Foods, and the Chickasaw Nation, prior to becoming a fulltime homemaker.
Kimberly was very active with the Celebrate Recovery Program. She mentored and helped numerous people find a better way of life. She was an avid fan of OU and loved baseball. Kimberly was very devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ.
Kimberly was continually active in the lives of her nieces and nephews. She had a beautiful smile that always brightened the day of others she encountered. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading her bible, listening to music, and singing.
Survivors include her daughter, Kaelyn Willis of Sulphur; her loving companion of 20+ years, Daniel Shelton; two brothers, Wayne Lopez and Manuel Lopez; three sisters, Theresa White, Dana Willis, and Monica Tubby; her father, Roy Willis; stepfather, Leonel Lopez; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Kimberly in death was her mother, Regina (Lewis) Lopez; grandmother, Elsie May (Williamson) Lewis; and two brothers, Gabe, and Adriane.
Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Sulphur.
