Louie David Weaver was born September 26, 1938, in Seminole, to the late Harry Herman Weaver and Addie Mae (Young) McFarland. He died on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Sulphur, at the age of eighty-seven. Louie and the former Ms. Virginia Mae Babb were married on September 26, 1979, in Gainesville, TX. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2010. Others preceding Louise in death include three brothers, Junior, Ronnie, and Larry Weaver.
Louie grew up in Seminole. After graduating from Bowlegs High School, he joined the United States Navy. Following an honorable discharge from the Navy, Louie attended Okmulgee Tech where he studied tv and appliance repair. For several years, he utilized his skills working in Ardmore. In 1982, he and his family moved to Davis where he owned and operated Weaver’s Appliance until his retirement in 2003. Louie’s final years of work were spent with the Chickasaw Nation. Throughout most of his life, Louie raised game cocks. This was a hobby that he greatly enjoyed.
Louie was known as a quiet, soft-spoken man, whom everyone respected. He was always willing to help anyone in need, never expecting anything in return. He and Virginia enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. Those outings always included lots of laughs, not only for them but for anyone around. In his later years, Louie enjoyed trying his luck at area casinos. Knowing his own luck, he knew before entering that winning was not going to happen, however he still enjoyed the atmosphere and visiting with friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Paula Jones; three sons, David Weaver, Greg Weaver, and Darren Weaver; ten grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Jordan, Dakota, Will, Lynn & DeShanna Weaver, Jennifer Saga, and David & Jessica Jones; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as one brother, Gary Weaver.
Per Louie’s request, no formal services will be held.
