Machelle Rene Thomas

Machelle Rene (Johnson) Thomas, better known by friends and family as "Shelly" was born June 20, 1968, in Anchorage, Alaska, to the late Clarence Edward Johnson, Jr, and Rejah LaDane (Green) Lindsey. She passed from this life on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Davis, at the age of 58 years.

Shelly grew up in Davis, graduating from Davis High School. She married her best friend and love of her life, Donald Eugene Thomas, on June 19, 1997, in Sulphur. Together they built a life centered around love and family and were blessed with two sons, Kenny Don Thomas and Jake Thomas.

Shelly's greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with the people she loved and treasured the memories they made together. She especially adored her granddaughter, Kinsley, who was truly the apple of her eye. The bond they shared brought Shelly tremendous happiness, and Kinsley held an incredibly special place in her heart.

Shelly will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and for the special place she held in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she had for them will continue to live on through the memories, stories, and moments they shared.

Shelly leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend, Donald Thomas; her two sons, Kenny Don Thomas and Jake Thomas, all of Davis; her cherished granddaughter, Kinsley; her mother, Rejah Lindsey and husband Butch of Wynnewood; siblings, Claudia Nolan of Wynnewood, Brian Beesley & wife Sarah of Davis, Shannon Thomison & husband Tim of Sulphur, and Blue Beesley & wife Bobbie of Ardmore; as well as numerous family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Although Shelly's time with us has ended, the love she gave her family will never leave them. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, awesome sister, and daughter. A woman whose greatest treasure was her family.

Cremation was placed in the care of HALE'S FUNERAL HOME, DAVIS.
