Graveside services for Margaret Ann Hicks were held 11:00 AM, Saturday, Mar 1, 2014 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating.

Margaret was born Aug 2, 1938 in Stratford, OK to the late R.C. & Callie (Lewelling) Roland. She died Wednesday, Feb 26, 2014 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 75 years 6 months & 24 days. Margaret & Donald R. Hicks were married on Sept 5, 1955 in Gainesville, TX.

Margaret grew up in Stratford where she graduated from high school. Throughout her marriage she was a stay at home mom, caring for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino to try her luck. Margaret was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband Don; three sons Larry D. Hicks of Davis, Kenneth R. Hicks of Ft Worth and Kevin D. Hicks of Davis; three grandchildren, Kendra M. Hicks of Davis and Chad R. & Natalie A. Hicks, both of Sulphur; three sisters, Wanda Frantz, Barbara Dykeman & Loretta Eartherly; as well as step-brother, Jimmy D. Roland and step-sister, Viola Hall.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Larry, Kenneth & Kevin Hicks, Chad Hicks & Billy Prater.
