Michael Quinton Williams

November 11, 1983 — December 10, 2021

Michael Quinton Williams was born November 11, 1983, in Oklahoma City, OK to Herman Darnell and Sherri Lynn (Neely) Williams, Jr. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 10, 2021, in Sulphur, OK, following a 13-year battle with Huntington’s Disease.

Michael grew up in Oklahoma City, prior to moving to Dallas, where he graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2001. Following a year of college, Michael became employed with Time Warner Cable, working as a retention salesperson.

Michael was an outgoing, vibrant young man. His positive approach to life gifted him countless friends. Michael was the type of guy that never met a stranger and always saw the best in others. He was an incredibly talented individual, with a passion for drawing and writing rap music. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and playing basketball.

Although Michael’s life was brief, the impact that he had on those around him shall live on forever. His mantra was “accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative.”

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved mother, Sherri Williams of Burleson, TX; one sister, Alecia Hyatt of Dallas, TX; one brother, Herman D. Williams, II; stepfather, Alfred Hyatt; aunt, Linda Neely Shelmire; maternal grandparents, Ruth Neely, and Ron Payne; paternal grandmother, Lillie Williams; aunt, Maureena Williams; as well as a host of cousins and friends.

Preceding Michael in death was his biological father, Herman Darnell Williams, Jr; and his paternal grandfather, Herman Williams.
