Misty Marie Ross

Misty Marie Ross was born July 13, 1986, in Ada, to Joseph D. Ross and Ellen Marie (Price) Slaten. She passed on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Sulphur, at the age of 38.

Growing up, Misty made her home in Davis, as well as the Ada area. She graduated from Vanoss High School, Class of 2005. After high school, she devoted her time to children. Misty was a free-spirited individual. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, coloring, watching television and fishing.

She is survived by her daughter, Jaden McBride of Davis; two granddaughters, Ceclia Angeline and Iris Marie Counts; her mother, Ellen Slaten of Davis; her father, Joe Ross & wife Elaine of Davis; one sister, Heather Foster; three brothers, Joseph E. Ross, Justin Ross, and Montana Riggle; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Misty was preceded in death by an infant son, Jared Alan Rush; maternal grandparents, Harold & Agnes Price; and paternal grandparents, Joseph & Ruby Ross.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 4-6:00PM, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis. Cremation will follow.
